ReadSpeaker’s neural text-to-speech (TTS) technology was selected to power the voice-enabled “Hello Kitty’s Room” game, produced by WFS for Google Assistant.
The goal was to create an engaging, voice-enabled game experience for “Hello Kitty’s Room” on Google Assistant that would captivate fans and enhance interactions with authentic character voices.
They wanted to deliver a voice experience that not only reflected Hello Kitty’s distinct personality but also maintained high audio quality and could express emotions effectively.
The challenge lay in producing a synthetic voice that was both true to the original character and capable of supporting a dynamic range of interactions.
ReadSpeaker provided its Custom Voice service to develop Hello Kitty’s neural synthetic voice, based on recordings of the original character’s voice.
This approach enabled WFS to create a highly realistic, expressive voice that users could interact with seamlessly on Google Assistant-supported devices, such as Android smartphones and Google Nest Hub.
The solution allowed users to engage in natural conversations with Hello Kitty, collect furniture, cook with harvested food, and meet other popular characters like Cinnamoroll.
The game’s voice commands, such as “OK Google, talk to Hello Kitty,” brought Hello Kitty’s room to life, enhancing the user experience with a rich, interactive audio component.
